Double Simple Plate wheels have been developed as a Cost Effective alternative too using a Triplex Plate wheel or Sprocket and removing the middle row of teeth or just two simplex plate wheels. They are mainly used within the Material Handling Industry on Powered Roller Conveyors where from one common driven shaft you can drive multiple Rollers shafts down a conveyor line.
Both the Pilot Bore and Taper Bored Ranges are more comprehensive than most of our competitors, as both types have a larger range of tooth sizes, not available elsewhere. Including some tooth sizes in the Taper Bored range having an alternative bush size option.
In addition to the standard stock range listed here, the company provides a full manufacturing service to cater for the following requirements :-
British standard Pitch sizes up to 2"
American Standard to Suit ANSI b 29.1 series chains
Double Duplex and Double Triplex for both British & American Standard Chains
